Help Wanted: Business Dev Manager, Sr. Tech Project Manager
While many managed services providers (MSPs) have been hiring, unemployed workers are still searching for opportunities in the IT channel. Some may be looking for full-time positions, while others are looking to be hired as independent contractors/consultants. Full-time tech workers, however, may have been noticing a faster rise in their salaries than consultants in the same industry, a survey revealed. We’ll reveal the numbers, along with the most recent career opportunities from our MSPmentor job board.
Dice, a career site for technology and engineering professionals, recently released a salary survey, revealing a difference in salary growth between full-time workers and consultants. According to the survey, wages of full-time workers rose 5.1 percent last year — twice the rate of growth of consultant salaries, 2.2 percent.
