Aaron Sherrill is a Senior Analyst for 451 Research covering emerging trends, innovation and disruption in the Managed Services and Managed Security Services sectors. Aaron joined 451 Research after serving as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for two of the largest, pure-play Managed Service Providers in the market. He was instrumental in developing and growing the service provider business, driving the technical strategy for the companies, developing and leading information security programs, and bringing new managed cloud and security services to the marketplace.
Aaron has 20+ years of experience across several industries including serving in IT management for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He also holds degrees in business, computer science, and an MBA, along with multiple certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential.
David Dufour, VP of Engineering, Webroot
David is a leader in the computer security and threat analytics industry. He spends much of his time designing and implementing automated threat detection and remediation solutions with top tier software and hardware manufacturers in both the traditional IT space and the emerging IoT security landscape. David’s experience with machine learning, contextual analytics, big data, integration automation, and forensics has led to the development of several cutting-edge solutions for mapping threat landscapes, identifying bad actors, and the use of predictive algorithms for pre-attack determination. He is currently Vice President of Engineering at Webroot where he heads up the product engineering and cyber threat teams.
