Palm Pre Makes UK Debut
The Palm Pre is here! Here, if you live in the U.K., that is.
O2, the Pre’s exclusive carrier in Brtain, made the smartphone available to residents today. The 8GB device won’t set you back a dime if you sign up for a two-year services contract, running about $56 (U.S.) per month. The phone costs about $150 if you opt for just an 18-month contract.
The Pre, which has received mixed reviews, comes with a camera, GPS, full HTML browser, Bluetooth and a 3.1-inch touchscreen.
It was first made available in the U.S. in June and has been debuting in several European countries this week.
