CACI Wins U.S. GSA Deal for Mobile Management at Federal Agencies
Government IT services provider CACI International Inc (CACI) has been tapped by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) as one of five recommended vendors to provide mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) services to federal government agencies.
As a recommended vendor in the GSA Managed Mobility Program, a program intended to streamline the procurement process, CACI can assist federal agencies with managing and securing mobile devices and mobile applications, including developing an agency’s own application store.
According to CACI, each approved vendor meets the GSA’s requirements and secured baseline pricing.
CACI President and CEO Ken Asbury said in a prepared statement that this partnership reveals the government's confidence in the company to deliver the highest-quality mobility solutions and services to federal agencies.
"CACI’s extensive operational experience in this area can decisively impact speedy delivery of mobile solutions," he said.
The company said it has provided MDM products for U.S. civilian and military agencies in the past. The company has designed its products to address the challenges of government-furnished bring your own device (BYOD) programs.
