Green Cloud Closes $3.1M Funding Round for Channel Program Expansion. The Greenville, South Carolina-based cloud technology provider announced it has closed $3.1 million of additional equity from its existing investors. It has also secured an increase and extension of its senior credit facility to $3 million.
Cloud-Based Cybersecurity Firm Zenedge Raises $3.5M. Emerging from stealth mode, Zenedge announced it has secured $3.5 million in Series A funding. The company said it plans to use the financing to add more sales personnel to the staff of 15.
Azuqua Raises $5M Series A Round For Its IFTTT-Like Cloud Connectivity Platform. The Seattle-based cloud connectivity platform provider said it has raised a $5 million Series A round from Ignition Partners. The company said the additional funding will be used to focus on platform development and to support the company’s marketing efforts.
Flash-storage player SolidFire raises $82 million. Announced this week, the flash-storage company said it has raised $82 million in new funding to use for company expansion. Greenspring Associates and Silicon Valley Bank led the financing round, with participation from existing investors NEA, Novak Biddle, Samsung Ventures and Valhalla Partners.
BrightFunnel Raises $2.5 Million for a Predictive ‘Analytics Cloud’ for B2B Marketers. BrightFunnel said it has raised $2.5 million for its predictive analytics cloud for B2B marketers. The company said it will use the addition funds to accelerate the expansion of its marketing analytics cloud application and strengthen existing integrations.
