Domo Reaches $100 Million Billings Milestone. Domo has secured $131 million in Series D funding from Credit Suisse and other investors. The company said the funding will allow it to enhance its Business Cloud self-service business intelligence (BI) platform.
HPE and Microsoft Back Data Center Startup Mesosphere. Data center startup Mesosphere has raised $73.5 million in a Series C funding round that included participation from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Microsoft (MSFT), according to Data Center Knowledge. Mesosphere also announced version 1.0 of its Marathon production-grade container orchestration service and Velocity, which delivers modern applications in containers “with scalable and reliable continuous delivery.”
eGym Raises $45M Series C for Cloud-Connected Gym Equipment and Fitness Software. eGym, a cloud-connected gym equipment and fitness software provider, has added $45 million in Series C funding from HPE Growth Capital, Highland Europe and other investors. TechCrunch reported eGym will use the funding to extend its global reach.
Stratoscale Secures $27 Million Series C Funding As It Transforms Cloud Computing in the Data Center. Stratoscale has raised $27 million in a Series C funding round from Qualcomm Ventures and existing investors. The software-defined data center solution provider noted the funding will help the company expand globally.
Permission Click Secures $1.75M in Seed Funds from Friesens Corp. and Others. Permission Click has added $1.75 million in seed funding from Friesens Corp., Real Ventures and other investors. The company, which provides a cloud-based digital permission platform for schools, will use the funding to explore ways to help schools and parents “better coordinate permission slips, forms and payments required for student participation in school activities and events.”
