Star2Star Promotes Accardi, Other Channel Decision Makers

Star2Star Communications has announced numerous promotions in its senior management staff to focus on continued growth and channel expansion.
Michelle Accardi, currently chief marketing officer, has been named chief operating officer. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading sales, customer service, account services, technical support and partner services teams.
Randy Richardson, who has been chief operating officer, will become Star2Star’s first chief information officer. His first charge is to develop and implement a multiyear vision of integrated systems and cohesive information across the company.
John McGovern, formerly executive vice president of finance and accounting, becomes Star2Star’s chief financial officer. He will be responsible for the company’s overall financial health. He has been CFO of publicly traded and private equity-backed SMBs, and has been divisional CFO for multibillion-dollar enterprises.
Gary Arnold moves from his role as CFO and treasurer to executive vice president and treasurer. He will be responsible for the company’s banking and financing relationships, including outside funding and credit sources.
Bruce Illes, currently legal counsel, will become chief legal officer. With his team, he is involved in almost all of the company’s legal matters, from non-disclosure agreements, vendor contracts and carrier agreements, to employment-related matters and managing outside counsel when needed.
Star2Star’s partner network includes distributors, master agents, MSPs and certified installing dealers. Its phones, call-center, disaster-recovery services and more are used by hundreds of thousands of businesses, including large national chains with multiple locations.
