Secure connectivity provider Tempered Networks launched its Cyber Guardian Partner Program this week, designed to help partners provide an additional line of defense to protect customers from data breaches.
The program is being marketed as a first-of-its-kind initiative to help solution providers bridge the gap between their customers’ IT and operations teams, according to the announcement.
Tempered Networks’ offering enables resellers to “cloak” their critical devices from unauthorized users, thus adding an extra layer of security to their existing protection strategy. This focus on aligning customers’ IT and OT needs will help partners become trusted security advisors by providing a needed consulting service while simultaneously improving endpoint security for end users, said Lee Finck, vice president of Strategic Partnerships and Channel Sales at Tempered Networks.
“Tempered Networks and our Cyber Guardian program help our partners address an exploding number of threats for which perimeter security alone is clearly not enough,” said Finck, in a statement. “It enables them to expand their security business with a new layer of defense for clients.”
Tempered Networks also debuted the Cyber Guardian portal, where resellers can access deal registration opportunities, training modules and more. Specific details, including program tier structure and exact partner margins were not made available at the time of the program’s launch.
Earlier this year, the Tempered Networks secured an additional $15 million in Series A funding, bringing the company’s lifetime total to $22 million.
