Master agent CarrierSales is in rarified air, surpassing the million-dollar monthly billing mark with Integra, the Vancouver, Washington-based service provider.
Utah-based CarrierSales cites the rapidly increasing demand for high-bandwidth infrastructure and cloud services, particularly with midmarket and enterprise businesses, as the biggest reason for reaching the milestone. Forecasts put cloud-service revenue at more than $100 billion next year, up about 21 percent from this year – so opportunities are only going to continue to grow.
“Our strategic focus on supporting cloud and data-center strategies for businesses with our fiber-based network services matches up perfectly with the expertise that CarrierSales and its distributor network of trusted advisors bring to the ecosystem,” said Scott Forbush, vice president of Integra’s indirect channel. “CarrierSales has been focused squarely on one of the fastest-growing segments of the communications market, while always ensuring that they and their partners deliver a world-class customer experience to our subscribers. We are pleased to welcome CarrierSales to the million-dollar club, and look forward to many more successes ahead.”
CarrierSales is the first master agent to reach this milestone with Integra, which comes as no surprise. CarrierSales was the vendor’s top partner for both the first and second quarters of 2015 based on sales revenue.
“Attaining the million-dollar mark testifies to the significant commitment that we and our sales partners have made to one of our most-valued suppliers,” said Richard Murray, president of CarrierSales. “I would personally like to thank our terrific partners and the support team over at Integra for all of their hard work in bringing this to fruition. Our sales with Integra are growing rapidly, with no breakwater ahead, and we are well on our way to passing the second million-dollar milestone for monthly billing. We couldn’t be more excited about it.”
Integra separated into two businesses – Electric Lightwave and Integra Business – earlier this year, with one focused on the enterprise and the other at the midmarket. It recently reached a milestone of 3,000 on-network buildings across 11 states.
