StorMagic Formalizes First Global Partner Program
StorMagic announced the launch of its Global Preferred Partner Program this week, solidifying the company’s first formal partner offering.
The company, which specializes in software-defined storage for virtual server environments, said the program is a reaffirmation of its commitment to investing in its indirect sales business and reduce the total cost of ownership for customers.
StorMagic currently supports more than 120 channel partners in North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, but has not had a structured partner program until now. The new program is expected to allow StorMagic to provide its resellers with exclusive access to dedicated sales and marketing programs, as well as standard partner program features such as pre-and post-sales support, online training and testing software for its SvSAN solution.
The company also announced the launch of its Champions Program, which acts as the deal registration aspect of the Preferred Partner Program. Members of the Champions Program will receive an additional 20 percent margin for identifying, qualifying and registering sales opportunities for SvSAN. Only members of the Preferred Partner Program will be eligible for additional deal registration benefits.
“StorMagic recognizes that an engaging channel program, backed up by strong leadership and support are essential pillars of a successful go-to market strategy,” said Hans O’Sullivan, CEO of StorMagic, in a statement. “That is why we are delighted to be announcing our new channel program which will help to grow StorMagic’s indirect sales across the world. Further strategic channel and partnership announcements are planned for 2015, and will be confirmed later in the year.”
