IndependenceIT Unveils New Channel Partner Program
IndependenceIT unveiled a new channel partner program this week aimed at providing resellers with a way to capitalize on selling its workspace-as-a-service and desktop-as-a-service solutions.
The workspace automation software platform provider said the program will allow its partner ecosystem to boost sales ahead of the predicted growth of cloud workspaces, which is expected to reach 4.7 billion by 2018, according to IDC.
“We are leading the shift away from ‘puzzle piece’ IT workspace alternatives toward more automated and easy to manage solutions,” said Seth Bostock, CEO, IndependenceIT, in a statement. “Built on a strong technology foundation, our channel-focused business model drives partner success, reduces conflict and encourages collaboration for much faster payback.”
Like other partner programs in its category, IndependenceIT will divide resellers into two tiers, with top partners occupying the Elite category and the rest falling into a standard group. Elite partners are tasked with packaging infrastructure, software and services on top of Cloud Workspace Suite software, while basic partners will sell direct to customers, according to the announcement. These partners will also have the option of either managing their own infrastructure or leveraging Elite partners to white label their platforms.
Bostock told CRN that resellers could see up to a 50 percent margin on its SaaS products by combining the new partner program with the company’s automation software.
A Technical Account Management team as well as dedicated professional services and marketing support are included in the program as well. Resellers can even streamline their operations by standardizing on a single platform for public, private and hybrid cloud environments.
