Parallels Integrates Google Services Into Plesk
Interesting news on the hosting front: Parallels has announced that they’re building Google Services for Websites into Plesk Panel 9.5, enabling hosting resellers to deploy trademark Google products like AdSense or Webmaster Tools and drive traffic and revenue to the sites under their care. Intrigued?
By putting Google Services on the Plesk control panel, webmasters can deploy all sorts of tools with only a few clicks and zero infrastructure investment. For example, AdSense can monetizes any site with automatically-generated advertising that’s all handled on Google’s end, and Site Search puts Google’s whole processing power behind your site’s own search bar.
Probably most useful of all the Google products is Webmaster Tools, which gives a lot of visibility into site performance, troubleshooting, and search optimization.
In all fairness, Parallels is loading Plesk 9.5 with all sorts of other goodies, like free installation, migration, and support, PCI compliance, and full support for all virtualization platforms. But making it easier than ever to deploy useful cloud tools is what sets this Parallels/Google partnership apart.
