All Covered Adds Cloud Servers to IT Services Suite
All Covered has added a cloud server solution to its suite of outsourced IT services for SMBs throughout the U.S. The cloud servers are designed to host business applications like hosted SQL Server, hosted Exchange Server and hosted SharePoint. Here’s more info on the latest All Covered solution, courtesy of All Covered CIO Tim Crawford.
“The beauty of our cloud server is that it integrates with all of our other offerings,” Crawford said. “You can layer support on top of it to make it completely comprehensive.” The All Covered Cloud solution is not designed to compete with the likes of Amazon and Rackspace. It’s more of a foundational solution that gives All Covered clients a choice between having physical servers in their offices, placing them in a data center or having a cloud server. And according to Crawford, it’s just another way All Covered is bringing enterprise-class solutions to the SMB level, at an SMB price.
All Covered plans to leverage its recent acquisitions of LAN Associates, Techcare and others to market the new cloud servers solution to the legal, healthcare and education verticals. The word on the street is that All Covered is expecting to announce another acquisition sometime in October 2011, which will be the 20th All Covered acquisition in the last three years.
