Datto Named Connecticut’s Fastest Growing Technology Company
Datto has been named Marcum Tech Top 40’s Fastest Growing Technology Company in the State of Connecticut for the second year in a row. It also claimed the top spot within the IT Services category for the third year in a row.
Finalists were selected based on revenue growth over the last four-year period in six industry categories. The Norwalk, Connecticut-based data backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions provider this week said it has seen 1,436 percent growth over the past four years.
Datto Founder and CEO Austin McChord said in a statement that the company’s “success is due to the steadfast support of our partners.”
“Their loyalty stems from the dedicated and passionate workforce at Datto,” he said. “Our goal has always been to deliver the most innovative backup and business continuity solutions for our partners and their customers around the globe, and that’s what drives us each day.”
Connecticut-based companies considered for the Marcum Tech Top 40 are both privately and publically owned. To be eligible, companies must have a minimum $50,000 in revenue in the first year and $3 million in year four.
Marcum LLP and The Connecticut Technology Council announced the Marcum Tech Top 40 finalists at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, Connecticut in the beginning of October.
