Delphix Announces $75 Million in New Funding Led by Fidelity Investments. Data-as-a-service provider Delphix has raised $75 million in an oversubscribed funding round led by Fidelity Management and Research Company. The funding round also included participation from Credit Suisse NEXT Investors, Greylock Partners, Icon Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners and The Kraft Group. Delphix noted that the funding will enable the company “to quickly scale sales, marketing and operations across global geographies.”
Ticketfly Raises $50 Million to Usher in a New Era of Live Events. Ticketfly, a company that offers a cloud-based live events platform, has received $50 million in Series D financing. Riverwood Capital led the financing round. Ticketfly said the Series D funds will be used to accelerate its platform development and allow the company to move into larger facilities.
VTS Raises $21M to Bring Big Data to Commercial Real Estate. Cloud-based leasing management company VTS has secured $21 million in Series B financing, according to TechCrunch. OpenView Venture Partners led the financing round, with participation from existing investor Trinity Partners. VTS said it will use the financing to expand internationally.
AeroFS Closes $10M Series B Funding Round to Bring Secure Private Workplace Collaboration to the Masses. Cloud collaboration solutions provider AeroFS has closed a $10 million Series B funding round. Avalon Ventures and NHN Investment led the funding round. AeroFS said it will use the Series B funds to bolster its product suite.
Showbox Raises $8 Million Series A Funding to Elevate Web-Based Video Production. Showbox, which provides a cloud-based video production tool, has added $8 million in Series A funding from media executives and strategic partners. The company said the funding will allow it to enhance its product development and drive market penetration.
