WiC Names New Channel Partners Planning Committee Chair
Women in the Channel (WiC) has named a 20-year telecom marketing veteran as chair of its Channel Partners Planning Committee.
Raquel Wiley is the channel marketing manager of TelePacific Communications’ Telepartner program, responsible for the strategic planning and management of the company’s channel relationships, which drive about 45 percent of the company’s $600 million business.
The committee is charged with planning WiC’s twice-annual networking events at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo and Cloud Partners events.
Wiley’s predecessor, Hilary Gadda, is vacating the position. Gadda is WiC’s co-president and director of channel partners at TelePacific.
“Raquel has been a big part of the success of our last three shows as a committee member and I could not be more proud to hand over the reins to her now,” Gadda said. “I know she will knock it out of the park!”
Wiley has been a member of WiC since January 2013 and has served on its Event Planning, Sponsorship and Angel Program committees. She has been recognized multiple times for her leadership and performance at TelePacific, and in former management roles at AT&T.
“I am honored at the new appointment and am elated about the opportunity to serve the WIC community in this capacity,” said Wiley. “I’m looking forward to collaborating with the WiC Board and other committee chairs as we take the organization to new heights in 2016.”
Established in 2010, WiC is a grassroots organization made up of women who are in leadership, ownership and revenue generating roles in the alternate sales channel sector of the telecommunications industry.
