D-Link Launches IP Surveillance Partner Specialization
As companies focus on virtualization, storage and various other data center needs, the physical security of a data center is something that shouldn’t be overlooked. That’s why networking company D-Link is offering its partners a new specialization built around IP surveillance technology. Read on for the details of D-Link’s IP Surveillance Specialization.
Differentiation in the channel is important, and that’s exactly why D-Link has launched the new specialization, uniquely offered through the D-Link Value in Partnership (VIP) channel program. If you don’t know anything about IP Surveillance, that’s okay, because D-Link has set up full technical training and a package that includes network cameras, recording servers and more to jump-start partners in understanding all the equipment involved for a full-blown networked surveillance security infrastructure.
D-Link’s specialization and full-on training is a natural progression following D-Link’s channel partner makeover in March 2011, which included new partner tiers (Silver and Gold) along with new sub specializations. This surveillance specialization continues the plan for differentiation and better value for D-Link’s channel partners. Partners who earn the IP Surveillance specialization will enjoy a partner portal filled with details on best practices and procedures, in addition to an upfront discount on IP Surveillance products, according to D-Link. Qualified partners also will be privy to “priority access” on surveillance market leads.
Following on the success of the IP Surveillance Specialization, D-Link plans to continue to add specializations inside the VIP program in the future.
