Allied Digital Accelerates Global Managed Services Push

Allied Digital Services Ltd., an MSPmentor 100 company based in Mumbai, India, continues to expand internationally. The latest tally: Allied Digital now manages more than 250,000 desktops and 6,000 servers in 36 countries. In addition to momentum in the U.S. and India, Allied Digital is looking to accelerate its business in Europe, according to Director of Technology Solutions Paresh Shah. Here's the update.

Allied Digital already has about 3,500 employees, but the company is looking to expand its employee base by 15 to 20 percent or more by fiscal year 2012 in order to keep up with its expected client portfolio growth. The company specializes in infrastructure management services, remote management services, managed security services, networking and communications, and integration projects.

Key partners include VMWare for virtualization, LANDesk for desktop management and network operation and Amazon Web Services for scalability and cloud computing platforms.

The company's ultimate goal is to grow top-line revenues and bottom-line net income by 30 percent during this fiscal year, according to The Economic Times. It sounds like that growth will involve close partnerships or perhaps even a strategic investment in Europe.
