Servoyant Completes PSA Integration Triple Play
We concede: Servoyant, which develops network management and monitoring software, wasn’t on MSPmentor’s radar until about a month ago. Fast forward to the present and Servoyant is the latest company to complete a PSA (professional services automation) integration triple play. Indeed, Servoyant’s software — available as SaaS or as an on-premise appliance — now plugs into ConnectWise, joining previous integrations with Autotask and Tigerpaw Software.
According to a joint ConnectWise-Servoyant statement, the two-way integration allows:
- ConnectWise service ticket creation by alerts generated from Servoyant;
- Manual ticket creation by the Servoyant operator directly from any alert in the platform; and
- the import of asset information for devices monitored by Servoyant into ConnectWise as a configuration item and linked to the ConnectWise service ticket.
The ConnectWise-Servoyant integration could be a sign of things to come. MSPmentor expects ConnectWise to unveil more integrations as the IT Nation conference approaches (Nov. 9-11, Orlando, Fla). Roughly 600 partners have registered for the event, which is expected to attract more than 2,000 VARs, MSPs and channel influencers, according to ConnectWise estimates.
Meanwhile, the other question on MSPmentor’s mind: Has Servoyant gained critical mass with MSPs? We think it’s a bit too early to say for sure. But the company’s leadership certainly has managed services and channel expertise.
- Enrique Krajmalnik, president and CEO, previously co-founded Illumen, an early provider of managed services.
Moy Speckman, VP of sales and customer service, previously was director of strategic alliances and business Development for TippingPoint Technologies, which HP now owns.
Benjamin Krajmalnik, VP of engineering, also was a co-founder at Illumen.
We’ll be watching to see if Servoyant gains critical mass with MSPmentor’s readership.
