ICYMI: Google I/O 2016
Google (GOOG) hosted its annual developers conference in Mountain View, Calif. this week, and there were numerous announcements on everything from analytics to virtual reality. Here are some articles that will help you catch up with every piece of news you may have missed this week.
On the first day of the conference, Google introduced Firebase Analytics, a “unified mobile developer platform designed to make it easier than ever to build apps using Google’s products and services.” Also, Google launched Daydream, a VR platform built on top of Android N.
The Alphabet Inc. division unveiled a new mobile messaging application called Allo containing a digital personal assistant. Also, Google launched a “voice-based search device called Google Home that uses the same assistant technology.”
