HP Adds CSP CenterBeam to CloudAgile Partner Base
Hewlett-Packard (HPQ) announced that CenterBeam, a cloud services provider (CSP), has joined the HP CloudAgile partner program and selected HP Converged Infrastructure to support increasing demand for its cloud offerings.
The HP CloudAgile program provides hosting, managed and cloud-based services, and offers service providers access to HP’s global sales force. CenterBeam focuses on middle market firms, providing hosted customer relationship management (CRM), hosted collaboration, virtual data center services and data storage management.
HP launched CloudAgile in June 2011. More recently, Talkin’ Cloud noted the growing list of CSP’s HP has already signed on. We also reported that the buzz surrounding HP’s upcoming public cloud centers on OpenStack, with the possible goal of helping customers to create private clouds as well.
“Exploding data growth is forcing our customers to find cost-effective options that increase capacity while maintaining performance levels of mission-critical applications,” said Shahin Pirooz, CenterBeam EVP and CTO, in a prepared statement. “The functionality and scalability of HP 3PAR systems enable us to offer affordable, flexible cloud storage services to our customers, while creating a unique competitive advantage for CenterBeam in the market.”
HP’s main customer event, HP Discover, will be from June 4 to 7 in Las Vegas. Click here to learn more about the HP CloudAgile partner program.
