FalconStor, Fujitsu Ink Global Storage Distribution Deal
FalconStor and Fujitsu are gearing up to take the world by storm. With a new reseller agreement, both companies will be pushing storage technology deep into all global marketplaces. Here are the distro details and The VAR Guy’s take …
FalconStor and Fujitsu have teamed up to bring FalconStor’s technology deep into the corners of the world. Fujitsu chose FalconStor because it felt FalconStor’s portfolio of storage solution software and technology meshed well with Fujitsu’s evolving storage management demands.
The new distribution deal will have…
“FalconStor, Fujitsu and its affiliates worldwide … resell[ing] the FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS) storage virtualization and management solution in conjunction with its ETERNUS DX disk storage systems, using FalconStor NSS software bundled with Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers.”
According to Fujitsu, this relationship is a major checkmark in the win-win box because of FalconStor’s broad vendor interoperability and its ability to deliver data migration capabilities via Fujitsu’s professional services.
Virtualization and networking continue to fuel the growth of storage at an alarming rate, a fact The VAR Guy is not remiss in noticing. You can bet our resident blogger will be on the lookout for more distribution and storage companies hooking up. Meanwhile, check out FalconStor’s recent virtualization moves and Version 7 technology, which seems to be the spark behind this distribution agreement.
