Doyenz: Private Cloud Company, Public Momentum Statements
Doyenz, which develops cloud-based disaster recovery services for the channel, is privately held. But Doyenz is pulling back the curtain a bit to show the company’s channel and financial momentum heading into 2011.
According to a press release issued today, Q4 revenue in 2010 grew 300 percent from Q4 2009. Also, the company’s channel partner base grew three-fold from Q3 2010 to Q4 2010, according to the company’s media statement.
Still, it’s difficult to pinpoint Doyenz’s overall performance since the company isn’t required to share key metrics like quarterly net income, earnings per share and actual top-line revenues.
All that said, Doyenz seems to be gaining some cloud momentum with VARs, MSPs and peer technology companies. Indeed, Doyenz has growing relationships with such companies as Intel, LabTech Software and StorageCraft.
Plus, Doyenz VP of Sales and Marketing Eric Webster has had success building SaaS and cloud partner programs, having previously worked for Intronis — the online backup specialist.
