Webcon Launches North America Channel Partner Program

Webcon, the low-code platform provider for building and managing business process solutions, has a new North America channel program. It allows IT system integrators to help their clients digitalize, standardize and automate business processes by leveraging Webcon BPS. That’s the company’s low-code application delivery platform.

It is among a string of partner program expansions in North America this year.

The timing for Webcon’s new partner program seems right. Demand for low-code solutions for building business applications is at an all-time high. Gartner predicts that low-code application development will be responsible for more than 65% of application development activity by 2024. Consequently, system integrators will need a partner that can help them quickly and easily build applications.

Beyond Process Automation

Webcon’s Mike Fitzmaurice

Mike Fitzmaurice is vice president of North America and chief evangelist at the Poland-based Webcon.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

“Our partner program is for true practitioners who want to go beyond just having process automation in their back pocket to eliminate manual steps,” Fitzmaurice said. “We’re looking to partner with the smartest system integrators who want to address their clients’ increasingly complex BPM requirements, improve productivity and build impactful business solutions.”

The program offers partner support, a partner onboarding program and channel marketing initiatives to reinforce indirect sales.

Additionally, partners can help their clients achieve 87% improvement in productivity on internal process handling time with Webcon BPS, the company says. Clients can also deliver better customer experience by speeding up complex external processes.

Revenue Building via Webcon Low-Code Platform

It’s also a means to increase revenue, said Andy Taylor, CEO of Dolphin IT Solutions, a U.K. Webcon partner.

“We’re finding that most of our clients want us to do the building and the supporting of the processes ourselves,” Taylor said.

He added that some clients do get involved in terms of building the form or designing the workflow. However, most want the solution delivered for them.

“So, we’re getting a lot of consultancy from the Webcon work that we do,” Taylor said. “Plus, they’ll usually take a support contract with us. We might also do a few other things like building an intranet, do the document migration or help out with Office365. So we basically get in the door with the core product, and then we can expand into other areas of what we offer. And that’s quite a big revenue booster for us.”
