ViewSonic Displays Shine with Eco-Friendly Features
Display manufacturer ViewSonic is proving you don’t have to bust your budget to get high-quality and eco-friendly desktop displays, debuting the affordable and mercury-free VA12 Series.
Aimed at SMBs and the government/education space, the VA2212m-LED is a 22-inch full HD 1920 x 1080p widescreen LED display, featuring an energy-saving mode that can reduce energy cost by up to 50 percent.
One of the key components of the VA2212m-LED monitor is its diverse connectivity options, making it flexible to be paired with a PC or a Mac computer.
The display also offers digital and analog inputs and an automatic aspect ratio adjustment — when the input is a 4:3 signal, the image will not be stretched but rather positioned in the middle of the screen with bars on each side.
The 19-inch VA1912m-LED display features LED backlight for energy savings and the ability to dim the backlight completely for pure darkness.
Different from traditional CCFL-backlit displays, where contrast ratios are limited to the fluorescent lamp’s ability to dim to reproduce darkness, with an LED backlight each LED has the ability to completely shut off, allowing for a near infinite ratio of black to white contrast.
Both displays come standard with a three-year limited warranty, and ViewSonic’s Finch Club offers resellers benefits such as specialized product training and discounts.
Display technology may not always be a show-stopper in the reseller space, but it’s one of those necessary technologies customers always will need, especially as more companies adopt digital signage capabilities. Being able to offer an affordable yet functional display for computers and public displays alike can be a slam-dunk sale for pretty much any VAR. And being able to do so with a display that’s also eco-friendly? More’s the better.
