Roll Out Dough

8×8‘s newly named Open Channel Program unites all channel efforts under a single, enhanced partner program. It spans North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

The enhanced program allows partners to grow their businesses faster by selling the 8×8 Open Communications platform. It replaces 8×8’s Elev8 partner program.

John DeLozier is 8×8’s senior vice president and global channel chief.

“We work with the best and fastest-growing partners around the globe,” he said. “They are leaders in the channel and have been instrumental in 8×8’s success. Their input has been invaluable as our partners are on the front lines helping businesses and organizations of all sizes transform the digital workplace, and strengthen business resilience efforts by moving their on-premises communications and customer engagement to the cloud. We are making enhancements to the 8×8 Open Channel Program to help both our partners and their customers succeed.”

New Tiers, Enhanced Benefits

The program offers new performance-based tiers for master agents, agents and VARs. It also includes a new authorized level to help partners get into the program faster.

Here’s our most recent list of important channel-program changes you should know.

The 8×8 Open Channel Program provides partners, based on tier, with:

  • Speed to market to get up and running, meet sales targets, and receive compensation faster.

  • Enhanced marketing benefits, such as account-based marketing campaigns, intent data marketing and webinar content.

  • Expanded tools and resources for partners to grow and manage their business, drive demand and increase revenue due to improved sales performance.

“Digital workplace transformation and the shift to an operate from anywhere mindset is now a board-level and C-suite imperative due to the current global crisis,” DeLozier said. “As we’ve seen, enterprise communications is a critical component of these efforts. Enabling business and organizations to provide all employees with the ability to communicate, collaborate and engage customers anywhere on any device is a major opportunity globally for the channel.”

“Our partnership with 8×8 continues to grow from strength to strength,” said Mark Morgan, president of master agent Intelisys, a ScanSouce company. “Now we are thrilled to have achieved the platinum tier in the 8×8 Open Channel Program, a significant accomplishment due to the success of our exceptional partner community, and the high quality of their cloud voice, team chat, meetings, and contact center solutions.”

8×8 launched its Open Communications platform last month. It combines voice, team chat, meetings and contact centers offerings — and it is fueled by AI-driven routing and predictive analytics.
