Intelisys is honoring one of its partners for reaching $1 million in monthly recurring revenue with the master agent/distributor.

Shrewsbury, New Jersey-based SMI Corp. has earned recognition as Intelisys’ 14th platinum partner. SMI consults and implements infrastructure, and it has partnered with Intelisys since 2006.

As a reward, the master is giving two SMI employees an all-expenses-paid trip to anywhere.

“It is an honor to celebrate SMI’s achievement of this remarkable milestone. The entire SMI team are consummate professionals; and their focus on providing high-touch, high-value consulting and management services to their customers is the bedrock of the company’s considerable success,” Intelisys co-founder Rick Dellar said. “We look forward to helping them reach new levels of success in the future.”

SMI owner Mary Anne Schafer says her company specializes in providing “technical expertise and connectivity” for clients’ telecommunications challenges. She founded the company in 1989 to provide a variety of services, including network design, disaster recovery and hosting security. She credits Intelisys for playing a role in SMI’s growth.

“Our partnership with Intelisys and the support we receive from the Intelisys team allows SMI to serve as a valued business partner to our clients, and provide unbiased, carrier independent solutions at the most competitive price,” she said. “We are dedicated to focusing on the business needs of our clients, and ensuring that critical network services are streamlined for their success.”

Intelisys named its 12th platinum partner, BroadReach Communications, in September, and celebrated PeakView Communications’ arrival into the elite club as the 13th member in December.
