Fresh from Ingram Micro comes a brand new bundle to help out the channel when selling virtualization solutions. The EMC VNXe series of unified storage platforms are now available bundled, packaged and ready to deploy. Read on for package details…

Available right now, the new Ingram Micro Virtualization (IM-V) bundles include EMC VNXe storage systems, which the company said are specifically designed for cost-effective and efficient SMB deployment, as well as VMware vSphere and Catalyst, Nexus and Unified Computing System products from Cisco Systems. They are designed for SMBs who have limited IT infrastructure know-how, or are in the early stages of deploying a virtualized IT environment, according to Ingram Micro, and will be supported via the Ingram Micro Advanced Computing and Technology Divisions.

Both Ingram and EMC are working together to proliferate the packages, and Ingram now offers solution providers a partner-led marketing campaign, designed by EMC. Through this campaign, partners have access to co-branded email campaigns, microsites, postcards and other sales perks at no charge to EMC channel partners.

For certain target markets — such as the SMB space, where money and IT expertise often are in demand — offering bundled technology packages can be a solid move for channel partners looking to add value. EMC’s moves to fill a niche surely won’t go unnoticed as it strives to improve its channel program.
