TBI is expanding its East Coast channel team.

Peter Plesh, a former Windstream employee, joined the master agent as a channel manager. He will support the company’s subagents in his region, working out of New Jersey.

“I am very excited to be a part of the TBI team,” Plesh said. “I look forward to providing my partners with the TBI white-glove experience to help them achieve their goals and grow their businesses.”

Plesh had worked at Windstream since 2001, in direct and indirect sales roles, including channel manager, regional sales director and senior account executive. The CLEC named him Chairman Club Winner 11 times and crowned him Channel Manager of the Year in 2015. He worked alongside Boe Mellor, who is now TBI’s director of sales.

“Pete is a great addition to the East region team and will be supporting our partners and delivering best in class service,” Mellor said.

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in November.

TBI has steadily increased its workforce this year. It hired Mellor in early 2018 and announced a regionally focused expansion. The company in November announced two new channel managers, and one of them oversees New York City. The master agent has added several former Windstream employees..
