Hello I am a new hire

ABBYY, a global provider of content intelligence solutions and services, has hired Rusty James as the new head of partner business for North America. He will be driving the development and execution of channel partnerships among value-added resellers (VARs), system integrators and independent software vendors (ISVs) to expand the use of ABBYY’s solutions throughout Canada, Mexico and the United States.

ABBYY’s Rusty James

“ABBYY’s Partner Program is an important factor to our ambitious market goals and Rusty has proven he can successfully drive revenue growth through direct and partner channel sales, especially among robotic process automation solution providers,” said Ulf Persson, CEO of ABBYY. “Equipping partners with our industry-leading capture technologies enables partners to provide solutions beyond automation and deliver content intelligence across various business processes and platforms. Rusty is the addition to the team that will take our partner program to the next level.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in November.

James is a consistent top performer in sales management, partner channel recruitment and development, and has extensive experience leading and motivating large teams. Prior to joining ABBYY, he held various leadership positions at organizations that provide digital transformation solutions, including Kofax, Ricoh USA, Fujitsu, Immediate Channel Group and Daybreak Intelligent Content Solutions. He has expertise in all areas of digital transformation initiatives such as cognitive document automation, robotic process automation (RPA), forms processing, business process management (BPM) and content repositories.

“ABBYY has a reputation for developing the most advanced content intelligence solutions that drive transformative changes to organizations’ business process,” said James. “My goal is to communicate these benefits among potential partners to expand our network throughout North America.”
