Admittedly, The VAR Guy blogs all day and leaves the company finances to a business partner (thank heavens). But our resident blogger bets plenty of solutions providers are willing to give Microsoft’s partner profitability tools a try.

Of course, Microsoft’s motivations aren’t pure: The company’s profitability tools are meant to guide solutions providers toward Microsoft’s Software+Services solutions.

Nevertheless, there’s no harm in trying a free tool. Is there?
