The cybersecurity vendor joined the Microsoft 365 Networking Partner Program.
As a result, Palo Alto joins the elite list of companies that Microsoft recommends for Microsoft 365 connectivity. Microsoft users can harness the Palo Alto Prisma Access offering to identify and categorize Microsoft 365 traffic.
Palo Alto’s senior vice president of worldwide channel sales spoke about the agreement in an interview with Channel Futures.
Aryaka Networks let reseller partners in on the action of its new channel program.
Aryaka last fall announced new resources for its commission-based partners (agents and tech solutions brokerages). Most recently it announced updates that accomodate margin-based partners like VARs, MSPs and distributors. Working with those partners allows Aryaka to deepen its global footprint, considering that many countries outside North America hold strongly to the resale model.

Remote IT monitoring and management provider ConnectWise gave partners a new collaboration hub.
ConnectWise Virtual Community futhers the development of what the vendor calls “IT nation.” It gives MSPs real-time access to ConnectWise executives, experts and peers.

Google Cloud‘s ecosystem and channel sales teams are merging together.
The integration serves to create a more integrated go-to-market flow for its channel. The hyperscaler vowed to double its partner spending and develop more co-marketing funds and incentives.

IntelePeer launched a partner program catered to companies that want to build or sell with the CPaaS provider.
On one hand, Intelepeer is teaming with agents, VARs and systems integrators to let them sell in the manner they prefer. On the other hand, ISVs and service providers can use Intelepeer’s APIs to build communications interfaces.

Data center management and colocation provider Flexential unveiled a new partner portal.
This portal, which went live on Jan. 24, contains resources like deal registration and tracking, as well as partner enablement. The biggest changes include an integration with Salesforce and improved opportunity tracking.

Application delivery provider Prosimo is targeting qualified partners to help expand its market presence.
The three-tier program caters to MSPs, VARs and SIs that have launched a cloud practice but want to grow their multicloud expertise. Former Aviatrix channel leader Timo Prietto is leading the new program.

For GTT Communications, no news is good news.
The service provider’s chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings have not harmed any partner commissions, according to new channel chief Ken Bisnoff. Bisnoff left TPx Communications to start his new job last month.

Experience management platform provider SupportLogic launched a new program that incentivizes co-selling.
The Partner Experience Plus (PX+) program is oriented around promoting synergies between SupportLogic’s direct sales team and its channel partners. Moreover, the vendor is offering performance-based MDF and free sales and technical enablement.

Several channel personal changes came to managed cloud computing provider Rackspace.
First, global partner channel chief Michael Stephens resigned from his role, saying he had “eclipsed all the goals I set for myself.” Then global vice president alliances and channel chief Lisa McLin left the company after almost two decades at Rackspace.

Cloudflare updated its partner program to make it easier fo the channel to deliver SASE and zero-trust services.
The vendor unveiled new product-level training and accreditation to teach partners how to deliver its zero-trust technology portfolio. The update also allows MSP partners to gain a managed services accreditation.

StorCentric‘s new program certifies partners for their data management expertise.
The data management provider unveiled its new Nexsan Partner Certification Program, which complements its existing channel program. Nexsan is a StorCentric company. Participants will watch a video, take a quiz about the video and earn a badge they can put on their website.

Acronis is helping its partners develop their cloud-based services.
The CyberFit Partner Program no longer includes a revenue threshold for service providers. It also is offering a dedicated partner account manager.
In addition, the backup and disaster recovery provider is offering prepackaged automated content that partners can use to bolster their social media visibility.

Cybereason‘s elite and premier partners can utilize a pay-as-you-go model with the extended detection and response (XDR) provider.
Adding a multi-tier consumption model helps Cybereason compete against rivals that are also offering a pay-as-you-go model. Many partners want to buy Cybereason’s offering for a monthly fee because that is how they sell it.

Wildix is making changes to its billing operations.
The UCaaS provider will launch a billing blatform that helps partners overcome the barrier of taxation requirements. Managing director Robert Cooper said many partners don’t understand how the tax process works when they consider how to bill their customers.

Bot detection and mitigation provider Netacea launched a North American partner program.
Netacea announced a new channel team, which will quadruple over the next year, according to its new senior vice president of U.S. sales. In addition, Netacea signed a supplier agreement with Upstack.

Infrastructure automation provider Puppet made its partner program competency-based.
According to the company, the new program incentivizes resellers to grow their skill sets and better equip themselves to meet customer needs.

Google Cloud, Aryaka and other vendors have made significant changes to their partner programs recently.
