ZyXEL Releases VoIP IAD, Router

ZyXEL Communications on Monday unveiled its newest VoIP products, an IAD and a router, for SMBs migrating to IP systems.

Both devices sold through the companys distributors enable multiline VoIP service either by hosting VoIP services or by integrating with an existing analog PBX system.

The P-2608HWL is an all-in-one VoIP IAD that includes a four-port Ethernet switch, built-in router, ADSL 2/2+ modem, IEEE802.11g wireless access point and eight FXS phone ports, for connecting up to eight analog phones. The device can be configured to use either VoIP or PSTN services and features lifeline support, which enables phone calls over PSTN during a power outage or network failure. The new product supports standard IPSec VPN.

The P-2304R SMB VoIP Router has one 10/100M auto MDI/MDIX Ethernet port, secure firewall, UPnP support and SIP-based VoIP functionalities for up to four FXS phone port connections.
