Windstream now sells Mitel‘s cloud voice and collaboration platforms, which means business users get access to unified communications technology that does not require up-front capital costs.

The UC-as-a-service product, which bundles Mitel MiVoice and MiCollab with Windstream’s VMware-powered cloud, remains in customer trials. It should be generally available this fall and will accommodate companies on analog or VoIP lines, thanks to Windstream’s SIP and data capabilities.

Features include mobile and desktop collaboration, messaging, and more. Support includes around-the-clock remote and onsite monitoring via Windstream.
