Unified communications provider CallTower Inc. says it has improved its channel partner program, offering better revenue sharing according to a new tier structure.

VARs and other partners now earn recurring monthly revenue on closed deals for the life of the contracts, CallTower said. There are three tiers: Partner, Premier and Gold. The Partner level nets 15 percent revenue share; Premier gets 18 percent; and Gold earns 23 percent. CallTower does installation and maintenance, and provides around-the-clock customer support. The upgraded program is available now to resellers and consultants in North America.

“CallTower gives qualified partners the opportunity to increase their revenue by delivering advanced cloud-based IP communications services and applications to their customers,” said Bob Barnes, executive vice president of sales, marketing and business development for CallTower. We see an increased adoption of hosted UC, particularly by small and medium businesses.”

CallTowers UC platform integrates business phone service, email hosting, unified messaging, presence, instant messaging, and conferencing and collaboration. Its powered by Ciscos Unified Communications Manager, an IP PBX softswitch, the Hosted Microsoft Exchange Service and Microsoft Office Communications Server, as well as Microsoft Live meeting, T1 connectivity, and Internet and mobile device support. CallTower sells its UC platforms on a subscription basis.
