Avaya added a new face to its stable of master agent partners.
Telecom Consulting Group (TCG) and its channel partners will sell the communications vendors’ Cloud Office solution in the the U.S. TCG boasts 20 channel managers and approximately 5,000 agents, according to Avaya. Dennis Kozak, Avaya’s senior vice president of business transformation, praised TCG’s “extensive partner community.”

“Avaya Cloud Office helps customers go beyond voice communications to a world where multichannel, multi-touchpoint collaboration brings unprecedented productivity to users and unprecedented responsiveness to customers,” Kozak said. “As unified communications as a service continues to become increasingly important, TCG is well positioned to provide our technology to an expanding market.”
Agents can sell the entire Avaya cloud suite, according to TCG partner Dan Pirigyi. Pirigyi also praised Avaya’s support resources.

“They have assembled an all-star channel team that will help provide excellent pre- and post-sale support to our Avaya Cloud Office customers. Avaya is a globally recognized brand, and should be thought of for any UCaaS opportunity that arises,” Pirigyi said.
Numerous partners have signed master agent agreements with Avaya this year following the release of the Cloud Office solution. Jenne joined the program in March. The vendor has tapped various agencies and distributors to cover different regions. Westcon, for example, is covering Europe, while Synnex and Telarus are covering Canada. TCG will reach the U.S. market.
TCG made the news last week by buying fellow Florida-based master agent Global Systems Telecom.
