Telecom master agent Advantage Communications Group has partnered with Nova Solucoes, one of the largest business communication service providers in Brazil.

Under the agreement, Advantage can offer Nova Solucoes’ portfolio of internet, voice and technology services to its global base of clients and partners.

Jess Bernstein-Ansaldi, Advantage’s director of international sales, tells Channel Partners there is “no question that this new partnership will be an excellent gateway to open up more avenues into Brazil and Latin America for our partners.”

“For the first time, we’ll be able to offer enterprise clients access to a true fiber provider – all the way to the premises – in Brazil,” he said. “This can open more doors for our partners in such a heavily regulated, but rapidly expanding market.”

Nova Solucoes owns one of the largest fiber wireless networks in Brazil, covering most of Brazil and Columbia. Its portfolio includes fiber and microwave internet services, voice services including on-premises and hosted PBX, matrix and branch private lines, as well as a variety of structured cabling and radio communication services.

“We’re the only agency in the U.S. market that has an agreement with Nova Solucoes,” Bernstein-Ansaldi said. “A provider with a fiber-based network in Brazil that can deliver such a broad range of solutions is a big plus for our partners and their customers. We will no longer have to rely on LECs to gain access to customers’ premises, and can now better ensure the delivery of end-to-end solutions.”

Advantage has more than 50 carriers in its international provider portfolio, and Nova Solucoes adds another provider in the key Latin America region to that list, he said. That reinforces Advantage’s ability to “help our partners and their clients find the optimal solutions in every region of the world,” he said.

“Partnering with an U.S. channel distribution leader like Advantage is an integral part of our corporate growth strategy,” said Olisnei Nascimento, Nova Solucoes’ CEO. “Our entire team is looking forward to helping their partners and clients address their LATAM connectivity needs.”
