8x8 Fills DeLozier's Old Role with CenturyLink Vet as Channel Chief

8x8's new global channel chief has been on its channel team since September 2018.

Well, that didn’t take long. 8×8 channel partners already have a new global channel chief in the wake of John DeLozier’s departure.

The business communications provider has named Bobby Hall global vice president of channel sales. He previously was the company’s VP of North America channels.

Hall has been on 8×8’s channel team for three years.

This week, ScanSource hired DeLozier as president of Intelisys. He was 8×8‘s senior vice president of global channel sales for a little more than three years.

Before joining 8×8, Hall was area vice president of channel alliances at CenturyLink Business. Prior to that, he held positions at Unify, Arrow, ShoreTel and Avaya.

As 8×8’s global channel chief, Hall is responsible for accelerating business growth through 8×8’s channel partner program.

New XCaaS Uptime Guarantee

Also this week, 8×8 announced it now offers an enhanced uptime guarantee on its Experience Communications as a Service (XCaaS) platform across both UCaaS and CCaaS.

The guarantee is aimed at organizations requiring the highest levels of reliability across distributed offices and workforces. This is a financially backed, platform-wide 99.999% global uptime service level agreement (SLA).

8×8 XCaaS is a single-vendor cloud solution for both employee and customer engagement. It includes fully integrated contact center, voice, video meetings, team chat, and CPaaS APIs and embeddable apps.
