TCA Adds 4 More Vendor Members
The Technology Channel Association said this week that four more vendors have joined its ranks.
The additions of Integra, AirTel, Equinix, and IntelePeer further strengthen TCA’s goals of supporting the indirect channel through efforts such as certification, best practices awareness and ongoing education.
“Having these influential companies join TCA is a true testament to how far the organization has come and where it is going,” said Jeff Ponts, president of TCA and executive vice president at Datatel Solutions. “We create valuable networking opportunities for vendors to discuss industry challenges and provide them with a forum for information exchange, both with peers and with agents.”
Equinix joined as a premier vendor member, which means it will receive extensive marketing opportunities.
“As we see the industry transform and bring telecom and cloud services together in the same conversations, we look forward to working with TCA and supporting their members in their quest to stay relevant in the industry and grow successful businesses,” said Randy Clark, channel chief at Equinix.
Integra, AirTel and IntelePeer all are general vendor members, a status that allows for some marketing opportunities. All four companies are able to participate in TCA’s Certified Telecommunications Professional accreditation program.
TCA was formed in 2008. The organization now boasts more than a dozen vendor members representing a range of technologies.
