Cloud infrastructure automation provider HashiCorp has expanded its Partner Network to include resellers and SIs, with Cloud Technology Partners, Contino, Good Dog Labs (a Lighthouse company), Nebulaworks and Solinea as new members.

The HashiCorp Partner Network gives partners access to technical training, expert resources, and sales and marketing resources. Partners can choose the program type and tier that lets them meet their specific business objectives in adding HashiCorp to their go-to-market strategies, the company said.

HashiCorp’s Jen Murphy

Jen Murphy, HashiCorp’s vice president of worldwide channels, tells Channel Partners that although partners have always been part of her company’s go-to-market process, the “community and customer demand have reached the point where we needed … a robust program.”

“We are receiving lots of requests from our customers wanting to know what partners they should work with and how, and a similar flood of requests from partners on how they can best work with us,” she said. “We wanted to make sure we had comprehensive offerings that included training, certifications, opportunity registration, as well as sales and marketing support.”

The Reseller Program is designed for partners looking to add HashiCorp products and support to their offerings. It is a two-tier program aimed at helping partners drive license sales through access to resources and rewards. The program lets resellers increase their profitability as their HashiCorp business grows.

The SI Program offers SIs and consultants access to training content aimed at allowing them to develop product expertise to help them implement the HashiCorp product suite. This is a three-tier program which provides partners with the ability to expand their benefits as they achieve higher technical certification levels.

HashiCorp’s open source tools include Vagrant, Packer, Terraform, Consul, Vault and Nomad.

“Both programs have opportunities for partners to engage more closely with the HashiCorp sales team on joint customer engagements,” Murphy said.

The HashiCorp Partner Network also encompasses other partner activity, including: a cloud partner program for cloud service providers, a technology partner program for infrastructure technology partners, and a training partner program for technology training organizations.

“The HashiCorp Partner Network is a framework that includes all of the HashiCorp partner activities, and it allows for expansion as we get even more demand,” Murphy said. “We will continue to add new programs and new tiers within programs based on what our customers and partners are telling us.”

“HashiCorp’s products have been instrumental in providing us with a highly automated way of provisioning, securing and connecting cloud environments,” said Rob Lancaster, Cloud Technology Partners’ vice president of global alliances. “We are excited to be part of HashiCorp’s partner program and look forward to continued joint success as a result of it.”
