CyCognito on Thursday unveiled its new global partner program and Mimecast vet Carrie Roberts as its new senior director of global channel sales.

The CyCognito Global Channel Program gives partners tools, technology and support. As a result, they can ensure their customers can manage their attack surfaces and eliminate digital risks, the company said.

Cycognito’s platform uncovers and prioritizes digital risk in attacker-exposed business systems and data. It provides remediation guidance and ongoing validation, reducing resolution times for the most critical issues.

CyCognito’s Carrie Roberts

Roberts previously was Mimecast‘s director of channel sales for the U.S. and Latin America. And she held senior positions at BeyondTrust and Trend Micro. She has more than 20 years of enterprise channel leadership experience.

The global partner program is CyCognito’s first formal partner program, she said.

“A formal partner program has always been part of the plan to meet our growth objectives,” Roberts said. “Most customers rely on value-added partners like resellers, [global system integrators] and other consultants to assist in the prevention of cyberattacks. CyCognito provides unique value as a standalone solution. Yet with additional partner services, there are several key areas to assist customers with remediation and reducing the cyber risk.”

Opportunities for Many Partner Types

The program focuses on partners with a solid cybersecurity practice as well as services, Roberts said. It’s built for all partners, including VARs, system integrators, consulting firms, MSSPs and MSPs, she said.

“We provide deal registration protection and sales support for those opportunities,” she said. “Partners in the program will have access to our presales support organization for qualified demonstrations and proofs of concept (POC) that are also qualified.”

Partners can also move up and get more benefits for meeting mutual goals and objectives, Roberts said.

“We are looking to grow, but also know we need to focus on target partners to have key enterprise customer relationships and provide value back to those companies,” she said.

“We are excited about the opportunity this partnership holds for our clients,” said Sheetal Mehta, Wipro‘s senior vice president and CISO. “Organizations can now have full visibility into their attack surface with the CyCognito platform, while leveraging Wipro’s consulting and security expertise. Together, we want to help customers optimize their existing security investments while ensuring security policy is executed and adhered to.”
