Telesystem, Telarus and Versa Networks are teaming up around SD-WAN.

Telesystem will provide operational support for Versa’s cloud-managed Titan SD-WAN service, which Telarus agents will sell.

The three-way alliance delivers Versa SD-WAN in three possible consumption models. First, Telesystem will deploy, support and manage the Versa Secure SD-WAN solution. Telesystem can also perform those tasks for Versa Titan, which is a more easily deployed and less expensive version of Versa Secure SD-WAN. Last, Telarus agents and customers can bypass the support of Telesystem, which will still handle commissions.

“It’s an honor for Telesystem to be considered to operationalize this product set for Versa in the agent channel,” said Bruce Wirt, Telesystem’s executive vice president and chief business development officer. “We’re excited to get this in the hands of our sales team, as well as the very capable hands of Telarus partners across the country.”

Existing Partnerships

Telarus and Telesystem first partnered in 2018. Telarus CEO Adam Edwards praised Telesystem’s managed services.

We recently compiled a list of 20 top SD-WAN providers offering products and services via channel partners.

“Our relationship with Telesystem continues to grow and bear fruit,” Edwards said. ” … Their ability to customize deployments has quickly grown our base together well into the six-figure range in a short period of time. Adding Versa to the mix will be a win for all parties.”

Telesystem first partnered with Versa in 2017 and rolled out an SD-WAN solution in 2018.

“Telesystem has a unique high-touch approach and in-depth relationships in the agent channel, which we believe will accelerate the growth of Versa Secure SD-WAN and Versa SASE,” Versa Networks chief marketing officer Michael Wood said.

Wood and Versa recently spoke to us about the “third wave” of the software-defined wide area networking market.

Telesystem announced in January that it would realign its indirect strategy to focus on the agent channel.
