Master agent Telarus today announced that it achieved a new milestone in its growth by passing the $1 million mark in monthly billing with Granite Telecommunications. This moves Telarus into the top three in Granite’s indirect channel sales program.

Telarus has been a master agent of Granite since May 2014 and has doubled its book of business with them in each of the past two years. Granite is a leading provider of internet connectivity, hosted voice, mobility and SD-WAN services.

“While we are thrilled to celebrate this massive accomplishment, we recognize that it wouldn’t have been possible without our network of 4,000 sales partners across the country who made it happen,” said Adams Edwards, CEO of Telarus. “We appreciate the trust they’ve placed in us when recommending Granite’s technology services to their clients.”

“I’d also like to publicly thanks the team at Granite for being a great supplier partner who has made supporting Telarus and our agents a huge priority. While their products sell themselves, it’s the people behind the scenes that make this kind of success possible.”

“Today we celebrate Telarus and their network of outstanding sales partners,” said Charlie Pagliazzo, vice president of channels for Granite. “We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the employees and agents of Telarus over the years, especially as it relates to making the mutual pivot from basic voice to advanced technology services.”

Telarus is a master agent of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services. Before 2016, 99 percent of all Telarus orders were for legacy phone (POTS) lines. A dramatic increase in the sales of high-capacity internet access, P2P circuits, managed services, hosted PBX/SIP, SD-WAN, wireless and mobility, Telarus revenue attributable to POTS lines has fallen to 87 percent.

“The Telarus sales engineering team has also played a huge role in helping us close larger, more complex deals with midmarket and enterprise companies looking to leverage technology to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace,” Pagliazzo said. “Their knowledge of network, cloud communications and cybersecurity has been a game-changer.”

Telarus is the largest privately held technology services master agent in the United States, with a portfolio of more than 160 leading service providers — and growing. Earlier this month, Telarus added cost optimization provider vMOX and managed services provider Thrive Networks and cloud contact center software provider Sharpen Technologies to its roster of suppliers.
