As national channel manager, Valadez will serve TBI’s enterprise partners, resellers and distributors. He will work with enterprise organizations on the development of business plans, technical training and strategic alignment of cloud and network connectivity services.

“TBI has an established program tailored to VARs in the IT channel … and I’m honored to be part of it,” said Valadez. “My passion for growing business through cultivating mutually beneficial relationships is a great fit for this role. I’m eager to get started and leverage my experience to support these agents.”

Throughout his career, Valadez has been focused on revenue growth and program development for the channel with data center, server, storage, network and security solutions. At Insight, he served as an OEM business development manager for Veeam Software and Aruba/HPE. Prior to that he was an account executive at CDW and a professor of engineering at the University of Arizona. He holds technical certifications with Veeam VMTSP, Veeam VMSP, F5 Security Accreditation, IronKey Sales Expert and Tripp Life Sales Expert.

“We continue to see VARs turn to TBI for training and assistance in building their cloud practice,” said Mike Onystok, vice president of TBI. “We’re excited to have Rob join us to support these agents. His experience working with large manufacturers and technical understanding of distributors’ needs will provide immediate value to our VAR community.”

TBI’s Jonny Lympus

As inbound channel manager, Lympus will focus on the growth and expansion of TBI’s national referral program. He will serve as a primary resource to businesses that want to monetize existing online and lead traffic focused on business connectivity, voice and cloud solutions.

“I am a firm believer that if you know your numbers and your market, you’ll be successful,” said Lympus. “That mindset has contributed to my success in previous roles, and I’m excited to do the same at TBI. I’m looking forward to helping referral agents tap into new revenue streams.”

Lympus brings 17 years of experience in business development, project management and sales-enablement leadership roles to his position at TBI. The majority of his career has been spent in business process outsourcing. While at Mass Markets, he was influential in improving the performance and productivity of more than 700 sales and 40 managerial personnel, increasing teams’ efficiencies by 40 percent. He also developed a new sales process and compensation plan that resulted in a 17 percent increase in agent retention.

“We are very excited to add Jonny to our referral program channel management team,” said Bill Vander Vennet, national referral program manager. “As a seasoned professional with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, Jonny will have a strong impact on our fast-growing referral program and agent community.”
