Channel Partners Announces 2011 Channel Executive of the Year Finalists
Channel Partners, a publication of Virgo Publishing LLC, for the telecommunications indirect sales channel, is pleased to announce the 10 finalists for Channel Executive of the Year. The finalists will be honored during an awards ceremony wherein the winner will be announced March 13, at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Las Vegas.
The finalists and winner also will be featured in the May issue of Channel Partners magazine.
The finalists are, in alphabetical order:

- Greg Plum, Director of Business Development, The Conference Group
- Dan Sterling, Vice President of Indirect Sales, Windstream Communications
- Donna Wenk, Senior Vice President, PAETEC
- Blake Wetzel, Vice President of Sales, Qwest Business Partner Program
Each year, Channel Partners is honored to announce the finalists for Channel Executive of the Year,” said Khali Henderson, editor in chief of Channel Partners magazine. After a close race, where hundreds of votes were placed, these individuals clearly stand out as the cream of the crop. Each of the finalists should be recognized for the role they play in the success of the indirect channel model.”
To determine the Channel Executive of the Year, Channel Partners solicited nominations from channel partners. To be eligible, a nominee must have been the top person in the companys channel operations at the executive level of vice president or higher at a communications vendor (network operator/service provider/manufacturer). Channel partners were then asked to vote for the Channel Executive of the Year based on nominees leadership, longevity, innovation and contribution to the indirect channel.
