Bigleaf Networks Hires ShoreTel, Broadvoice Alum as Channel Leader
Bigleaf Networks is bolstering its master agent efforts with a new hire.
Eric Brooker has joined the Beavertown, Oregon-based SD-WAN vendor as its senior director of national partner programs. Brooker, who is Bigleaf’s fifth channel-related hire in 2019, will support the company’s master agent partners, “enabling and supporting Bigleaf’s network of telecom agents and MSPs.”

Bigleaf last month announced a $21 million funding round that would help develop the company’s master agent and MSP channels, as well as grow the product platform.
“Bigleaf’s growth in the telecom channel was built through our relationships with top master agents and their partner communities,” said Jeff Burchett, Bigleaf’s co-founder and chief revenue officer. “Eric’s experience and relationships will accelerate that growth. His expertise will drive greater engagement with our partners and enable them to find even more success with Bigleaf.”

He said working in UCaaS showed him the importance of SD-WAN.
“Voice and data communications are the lifeblood of a business,” Brooker said. “Our clients need to be able to interact with their customers at all times. With more services in the cloud, access to the cloud is critical, which makes SD-WAN a must for everyone. This just made sense.”
