The Alliance is introducing its new officers and members of its executive committee for 2015-2016.

David Gardner, president and CEO of Advantage Communications Group and Cellular Optimization, will replace Richard Murray, president of CarrierSales, as chairman. Murray will remain with The Alliance as an executive committee member. Robert Hayes, founder and CEO of eXemplify, and Ron Bohm, president of SelecTel, also are new members of the executive committee.

The Alliance, which represents the interests of agents, VARs, MSPs, cloud providers and other channel partners, says it plans to spend the rest of the year cultivating its membership and service-provider relationships while offering more benefits to its existing members. CEO Bill Power said he’s confident the new team will make the right calls even though the industry is going through serious change in terms of convergence and new technologies.

“Our goal for this year is to be a resource to help our members further their success and expertise within a channel industry that’s in a state of immense flux,” Power said. “I’m confident that our leadership team will provide the counsel, direction and lessons learned needed to support our members and providers, and achieve our goals for the next phase of our growth.”
