Based in Chicago, Roberts will be responsible for developing new partnerships, managing and leading existing partners and building a winning partner experience approach in the Midwest.

RapidScale’s Jason Roberts

“Before joining RapidScale, I was designing cloud solutions for clients and I looked to partner with RapidScale as often as possible,” said Roberts. “I appreciated the sophisticated level of engagement from everyone involved. Their dedication to our craft was second to none, and I found the engineering resources at RapidScale to be world-class. I look forward to bringing this level of expertise to our partners amd strengthening our relationships in the mighty Midwest.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in January.

“Jason brings extensive knowledge to RapidScale due to his prior roles in the industry, yet I’m most excited about the passion and energy he exudes on a daily basis,” said Bob Buchanan, RapidScale’s executive vice president, sales. “I’m confident that Jason will quickly prove to be a huge asset to both RapidScale and our valued partner community in the Midwest region.”

In January, John Rinehart was added to the team on the client side, coming onboard as director of  client experience, to work across the organization to ensure the quality and growth of the company’s client base.

RapidScale was acquired by Cox Business in August 2018, to solidify the cable company’s journey into IT and managed services. RapidScale maintained its structure after the acquisition, becoming part of the Cox New Business Ventures unit.
