Jenne Picks NetFortris, Telarus Vet to Lead Global Cloud Channel Sales

The new channel exec plans to expand Jenne's cloud field sales team.

Jenne has appointed Shawn Berry, previously with NetFortris and Telarus, to the newly created role of senior vice president of global cloud channel sales.

Berry will oversee field sales, business development, product management and marketing for Jenne’s global cloud and technology service distributor business.

“I was so incredibly impressed by the culture, vision, values and industry reputation of Jenne,” he said. “The leadership team and I share so many of the same views on growth and the future of the industry.”

Experience at NetFortris, Telarus

At NetFortris, Berry was vice president of sales. There, he helped create, build and deploy the company’s nationwide channel agent program.

Before NetFortris, he was senior partner development manager at Telarus. He also was national channel manager at IDT.

“During my time at Telarus I was highly successful with growing the Midwest market in both agent recruitment and overall new revenue growth,” Berry said. “In my most recent role at NetFortris, I was successful in creating, building and deploying a channel agent program that was highly successful and well received.”

At the top of Berry’s to-do list is expanding Jenne’s cloud field sales team and adding more cloud providers to its agent portfolio so “we can equip our agents with every tool they need to be successful.”

Here’s our list of channel people on the move in September.

“We will be bringing on top talent to our cloud field sales team, which will accelerate and grow our overall partner base all while leveraging our valued cloud provider relationship for overall partner success,” he said.

Jenne has done a “fantastic job” with its cloud channel sales practice, Berry said.

“I’m only here to accelerate the work that has already been done and add additional new cloud providers who are not just in the UCaaS, but in other cloud technologies such as CCaaS, IoT and SD-WAN,” he said.

Patrick Howard is Jenne‘s senior vice president of vendor management and marketing.

“With Shawn’s tremendous experience and knowledge, and his extensive network of relationships across partners and suppliers, Jenne will be in a great position to help our partners and suppliers capitalize on the accelerating shift to cloud deployed solutions,” he said.
