Peak 10 has a new chief executive.

Peak 10 CEO Chris DownieChris Downie steps into the boss’ chair while David Jones, current CEO and co-founder, will fully transition to chairman of the company’s board of directors.

The appointment marks a “new stage of growth objectives for the company and will leverage its leading scale and long tenure of delivering trusted enterprise IT infrastructure and solutions,” Peak 10 said.

Downie previously was CEO of Telx Holdings, a data-center services provider that built a national portfolio of 20 data center facilities in 13 major markets across the United States, including New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Seattle and others. He spent eight years helping Telx shape its growth and execution strategy.{ad}

A national IT infrastructure and cloud services provider, Peak 10 has data centers in 10 markets and more than 750,000 square feet of gross space.
